He made his professional debut against Edson Penado on October 7, 2017. Chase won the fight in the first round by rear-naked choke submission. He’s also 5-0 with four stoppage victories on the Washington regional circuit. Hooper faced Canaan Kawaihae in Dana White’s Contender Series 14. He was awarded a contract with the development league after winning the bout by unanimous decision. Before getting signed by the UFC, he fought in three more fights, winning two and drawing one in minor promotions like CFFC and Titan FC.

On December 14, 2019, Chase made his UFC debut against Daniel Teymur at UFC 245. He won the bout in the first round by TKO. On June 6, 2020, he faced Alex Caceres in UFC 250.
