Later, she gained more expertise and understanding by working at many stations. She was employed by FOX 25 in 2002 and worked there for ten years. She also covered a lot of weather, including over 300 storms including the ice storm in December 2008, tropical storm Irene in 2011, tornadoes in June 2011, and many others.

Since 2013, Cindy has worked at WCVB-TV. She won the Emmy Reporter Award three times and was named Best Meteorologist by the Associated Press in 2003 for her work.
